DWR CYMRU/WELSH WATER CONSULTATION

Residents in Treherbert, Treorchy and the surrounding areas are currently being given the opportunity to view Dwr Cymru /Welsh Water’s plans to upgrade the water mains across the area.

The scheme involves renewing 18 kilometres of water mains in Tynewydd, Treherbert, Treorchy and Pentre. It starts this February and will be completed by the end of February next year.

To keep customers informed Welsh Water is holding a public exhibitions on Wednesday the 23rd of January between 5.30pm and 7pm at the Abergorki Community Hall, in Bute Street, Treorchy.

BLOOD DONORS URENTLY NEEDED

The Welsh Blood Service are holding a donor session at Penyrenglyn Primary School, Baglan Street on Monday 11 February 10am - 6pm. New and existing donors needed as blood stocks in local hospitals are low - especially O blood types both O Negative, and O Positive
