Rhondda born and bred Leanne was pleased to visit the Rhondda’s first community radio station to see it in action. She is a keen supporter of community radio in Wales as a means of local regeneration and effective grass roots means of communications. Radio Cwmni is a project run by CwmNi the local regeneration partnership for the Treherbert area. Cwmni staff and board members are involved as presenters on air ensuring local residents know what is happening in the area and the range of services on offer.
